So...I was very close to buying an SLK BUT I may have to rethink with another kid on the way! Now my attention has shifted to an ML...still want the SLK but the wife would kill me. I am looking for white in the NJ/CT/PA/NY area. I found one that looks good but it's in NC. Too busy to deal with that. If any one knows an 09+ please post. Are you dead set on the ML? I confess that I don't really know all the specifics between the ML and the GL, but I ended up going with a wagon (an older one at that...) after I looked at an 09 ML. The wagon was less money, more MPG, better driving feel, and within a few cubic feet of the ML. The point being, the ML isn't as big as I once thought. I wasn't even looking at the GL at the time, but now, with 2 kids and another talked about soon, it would be on the top of my list, as far as MB goes. Of course, I am also coming from just having a Yukon and I'm still sorta missing all that room.

I am not SET on the ML, definitely open to a GL or a wagon. Not such a fan of the way wagons look but I do appreciate them for the space and the car chassis (great handling). I am still shopping different makes and models but I trust MB. Another make I may consider is the Lexus RX. My in laws have one...handles GREAT.
