In reading the post from Rudeney, the manual indicates that keyless go will only be available on the ML500. Has anyone had confirmation of that from their dealer?

Dealers are still clueless. This manual is for their upcoming hands-on local training sessions (Portland one is March 15).

It would surprise me if it were not also offered on the 350. Maybe not initially, though.

I have a ML 350 on order that is going into production first week of March with Keyless Go (at least it says that on the orderform).

I Europe you can buy introlevel E-class (200 Kompressors and 200CDI) with Keyless Go so I am quite sure I will get the Keyless Go in my car unless MBUSA for marketing reasons want to make it exclusiv for the 500 (V8)!

For any other MBZ class that offers KeylessGo, it is available across the entire range and not just one engine/trim line. I see no reason why it would be available on an ML500 but not the ML350.

I've got to give them credit--at least it's an option, not standard equipment. To me, keyless go is a solution looking for a problem.

I agree with your point. But my wife drives the truck and is a sales rep, often carrying things. Might be a nice convenience to have it unlock without having to grab keys.

I have had Keyless Go on a few cars (02 SL55AMG, 03 E270CDI and 04 E320T 4Matic) and it is by far one of the nices features you can put on a car.
In addition it is one of the few "gadgets" my wife is in fact using (understanding?).
As a mather of fact, I love it so much I am considering puting on my house (if it was possible).

And as a bonus: It allways works. I have had no problems with it what so ever.

It is now (from modelyear 2003, I belive) integreted into the key so you always bring that with you anyway!

So to sum up:
IT IS A MUST ON ANY NEW MERCEDES-BENZ and a feature you will love after 1 minute![:D][:)][:D]

The latest Newswire on page 10 says that Keyless Go is an option on the ML500. No mention either way on the 350.
