This is my first post here!.
I just dropped my slk key and the infra red lens cracked, and now a piece is missing. I was wondering if anyone knows if that part can just be ordered. If it can't does anyone know how I can take apart my key (2001 switchbalde style) and replace it with another key's lens cover.

you should be able to pry the lens of with a flat screw driver or a knife, do it slow and be careful with the infrared LED when putting the new one in, you'll know what im talking about when you get the old one out. GOOD LUCK!


btw.. the lens is part of the remote, you have to order the whole remote to get one of those lens.
