Keeping a AMGGTS in neutral for longer than 30 minutes Does anybody know how to do that?
I bought the car to track I have a couple other race cars and an enclosed trailer. No side door on the trailer so I have to winch it in and wind shit out. I know how to get the car in neutral but it will only stay for 30 minutes exactly and then it goes into the park mode. So after a hour and a half to 2 Hour Dr. to the track the car is in park and I have to get a small person to climb through the window start the car take it out of park and then I can winch it out. That is the closest track an hour and 45 minutes away when I go to Road Atlanta that’s a 12 Hour Dr. VIR is a 9 Hour Dr. Mid-Ohio is a 3 Hour Dr. Pitt Race is the close one but all the tracks that I go to our way over a half hour in the car automatically goes in to park. I tried pulling the fuse number 15 in the rear trunk compartment which works the transaxle but as soon as I pull the fuse it goes in the park I’ve called several dealerships they have no clue . So I was hoping someone has the experience on how to keep the car in neutral overnightInteresting. what does it do after 30.
why do you need +30 minutes?
I tried that but it still goes in the park after 30 minutes even with the battery disconnected there must be a capacitor somewhere in the system that holds a chargeCan you disconnect the battery in neutral before winching in/out?
what a car. Can I recommend putting it in your profile please - Complete your ProfileNo This car only has the main battery up in the engine compartment
