Unless you are doing more than just changing from a paper filter to a K&N (i.e, some form of cold air increase), you should question why. The K&N power increase is negligable at best on modern cars, and many forums have commented about putting too much oil on them which causes the MAF fail or function poorley -- which would not be covered under warranty.
