I see one pic. and it looks like a nice 107. The chrome 560 wheels are not to my taste but to each his on. There are worse examples posted here.

Where did you post the pictures?
Welcome to the 107 forum. I doubt anyone knows how many euros are in the U.S. Narrowing it to 350SL euros would be even more difficult.

This site shows production numbers. They are probably close.

I love to see sources of data, but in my opinion, a single incorrect statement destroys credibility. They say there were 2700-some 500slc cars made between 80-81. That would have been fine if they said 78-81.

I am more confident in the specs in the car collector article I posted on page 4 of the "slc convertible?" thread. (google it, and go to page 4 of the thread).

But there were not 2700-some 500slc or 1980-81 026 cars, more like 1300-some.

There were 2700-some 77-81 (or 78-81) 026 cars, not all of which were 500slc.

So saying that there were 2700-some 026 500slc cars from 80-81 seems incorrect to me.

Hey... Was that stuff in parentheses under the 500slc mentioning the 450slc 5.0 there yesterday?

I hadn't noticed that if it was there. That disclaimer covers it.
