here is the story, My friends 1995 SL320 was out of juice, so he accidentally jump started it by putting the positive to the positive and the negative to the negative, now the car has no ABS, traction and working speedo...i once did that to my SL300-24 and all i had to do was replace the fuses....how can he fix his?

Check every fuse on the car first and if that does not fix it he will need test equipment to find out what has been fried.

That's how it should be hooked up when jump starting... except negative on dead car should be clipped to a good ground...

Correct, I am assuming he meant negative to positive.

Now you know how i fried my car's ABS and Traction :crybaby2:

as for checking fuses, I know where the ABS and traction fuses are in a 92 SL300-24 but for the 95 SL320, i have no clue...any ideas?

Rear right of the engine compartment and it uses the old bayonet fuses but he may be lucky as this car is not so heavy on modules etc. He should check ALL the fuses in this box.
