Very big thanks to you, kabayan. Very, very nice upgrade ... no regrets. We`re talking about the speedo Chrome rings.

Is that a simple procedure? Looks nice.
If you have a little skill then you can do it. At first, I thought I might break something but thankfully nada. All you have to take out and then replace and put it back. That simple. Or follow this guide.

Isn't the alarm horn a separate part? I remember seeing that here some time ago. If so, no worries about the neighbors...
Nope, I tried already by pressing the "panic bottom" and its my new ML55 horn is working. And it is very loud.

heh heh...

that pic was actually taken only a few days after I took delivery of my Inspiration Edition. I like how it looks now with the ML55 wood/leather steering wheel. [:D]

Pare, the interior

came like that as part of the Inspiration Edition. The dark wood is actually Poplar (greyish to black) and slightly varies from the ML55 wood (brownish to black). But an untrained eye can't tell the difference between the two under certain lighting conditions [8D].

For example, take a look at this pic of the ML55 steering wheel in an Inspiration Edition interior. See how the ML55 steering wheel appears brownish-black compared to the rest?

Here is the same interior under different lighting. Note how the ML55 wood almost blends in with the rest of the interior?
