USD$167,000 is a lot an 1986 560SEL with just 5,000 miles on the clock. I notice it has full hydro suspension.
Having only 5k on the clock means it has rarely been driven and if at all only short distance.
That means a lot of issues in my mind as these cars are mean't to be driven and especially the hydro suspension if the fluid has been let sit for long periods without being complelely swapped out at regular intervals (every 2-3yrs).
Good luck if they achieve that price but you never know these days with cashed up collectors

Agreed Kim,
It will need a full refurb, but the car actually has 28 miles.. twenty eight!!...that's delivery mileage. Someone bought this and never drove it. I love 126...buy could never justify over $100k...I'd rather have a real amg car.....Or two!

Can those miles and kilometres be proven? I’m on to my third speedo in my dashboard, I could be down to 137,000km if you know what I mean.

I once almost bout a w126 with 600 miles , it was used rarely by a high end art gallery . They had a matching te wagon with 1800 miles used to deliver art work . The wagon sold at auction for $5000 and the w126 for $8000. Thus was like 5 years ago before the run up in prices so I thought it was too high but today those would be $100k cars
