Is this fact or fiction? On one of the TV or cable auto shows. They had a short segment on tire pressure. The result was:
The only correct why to determine the tire pressure for your car and particular tires, was to mark the tires thread with a large chalk mark across the tire thread and then roll the car over a clean floor. Then look at the chalk marks on the floor. If the chalk mark is more in the middle the tire is over inflated. If the chalk mark is more to the sides, then the tire is under inflated. If the chalk mark is even across the thread, the tire pressure is correct. Fact or fiction?

fiction .... the best way and only way to know exactly what your pressure should be is w...

fiction .... the best way and only way to know exactly what your pressure should be is witha pyrometer ..... but, there are many ways to get close and the old chalk method does work pretty good but it is not the best
