Hi all

Stupid question on the face of it, but theres a bit more to it. Am working on a water damaged w221

Have to replace main comand head unit/navigation/dvd changer

Just plugged new one in, connected it to central display and get the picture attached when switched off and a similarly garbled picture when switched on although with an orange stripe

I checked the screen a circuit boards and none seem water damaged.

just wanted to check first if anyone has ever come across this and if any kind of reset is known to cure (I do have xentry/das)

looks like the display is toast
