Hello,

I do you know if it is available so called by me reverse gear repair kit for 1999 passenger Vito 108cdi and do you know the mercedes part number? I mean all the things (springs, synchronizers, washers, gears, etc.) that can be changed for the reverse gear inside the gearbox when you remove the gearbox cap that is behind the driver's wheel on left hand driver van?

the "reverse gear repair kit" from mercedes is a cantilever mechanism on top of the gearbox that attaches to the gearshift cables (from the gearshift lever in the dash)

it controls gear selection and causes the gearshift lever to operate properly and not "slack"

what you are asking for is not a standard mercedes part..... it is not considered within the realm of an ordinary merc mechanic to dismantle and rebuild a gearbox.... a merc dealer would consider it a "factory refurbishment" a fit a whole new box instead
