Is front-center speaker grille magnetic?
I am about to buy a small, active GPS antenna which has a magnetic mount and I want to know if it will adhere to the speaker grille on the top of the dash.

Does anyone know if it's ferromagnetic or aluminum or what?

(Yes, I know I could simply put a magnet on it and tell but, as a city dweller, getting to my car in the garage is not a simple task.)

Thanks. 3 out of 3 responses! That's, indeed, where I'll put mine.

The grill itself isn't...

But just about all speakers have magnets in them, which is why it works [:)].

Note that you have to have the Bose system since the stock audio system does not have a centre speaker.

Nope. The presence of the speaker magnet is not relevant since it has a negligible external field and is remote from the the grille surface.

But all have the grilles.
