well i was wondering cuz im needa new to this car and it runs like a top...neways i was workin on it and cleaned the turbo up and it said AIResearch on it. i searched it on google and it came as a garrett turbo!?!?!? the car is a 1982 300d turbo....soo just wonderin if ya guys knew??????????

Garrett is the original turbo, MB also used KKK turbos.

The Garrett was the factory turbo, nothing special.

dam lol i bought this car from a older guy and he put like 5000 or 6000 in the car over 3 years and he gave all the paperwork with it. i was hopping he forgot the paper where he put a turbo on it lol. well thanks for the info
