Good news, your pressure is spot on! Presure gauge should at 3 the moment you put your foot down and when engine is cold.

Is my oil pressure normal? It's between 2 and 3 when idling.
Hello, I have an automatic 1992 190E 2.3.
When I am at a red light and the car is not moving the oil pressure is between 2 and 3 (that's the lowest it goes)... I am not sure if this is normal.
However, when I am driving it does stay on maximum (3)... which I think is good..
But I am not sure if it is supposed to be between 2-3 when I'm not moving. If not, what should I do... is this bad?
I don't know anything about cars!
