So I thought it was the HGasket. Now I'm thinking otherwise. I noticed what I thought was "oil" in the Coolant Reservoir. But the hoses running to the radiator (ac condenser?) back to the coolant tank are smoosh. I'm thinking it's Transmission fluid seeking into the Coolant Reservoir from a cracked radiator (new radiator last year). Before my mother donates it I wanna see her make at least a grand. I tried explaining to her but she won't listen to me because she payed for a new radiator last year from the Benz dealer. What should I check besides trans fluid level and radiator cracks?

Nice story about the mother, but what is wrong with the car?
"Oil" gets into the coolant but I think it's trans fluid. No coolant in the oil which would implicate a due HG. It slams into gear (first) intermittently which makes me think the transmission fluid is leaking into the coolant reservoir slowly but surely. Last time a trans service was done was in December or so at the dealer when they did the rocker arm.
