Here in Orinda there are lot of driveways that will scratch your bumper. Once have seen Goodwill truck hanging on front wheels and rear frame with drive axle off the ground. But all the driveways I've seen have landing platform at the door.
I wonder if they have warning signs on the door inner side?
I think they should.
well i can tell you this, my driveway at home it slightly less elevated but raises where the door meets the concrete. in my case i have to do one of the two or sometimes both:
1) go up my driveway at an angle in sport mode
2) go up straight with vehicle raised and going extremely slowly
the first and last time i parked with the front up high and the back lower. couldn't move the car until it raised. thats how i found when the tires started to slip and the floor began to scratch really bad.
They should have started the slope at the curb if it was going to be that steep, and put the sidewalk as a landing sort of, I mean...thats excessive. I do like concrete driveways though. We have so few in New England because of the ice.
That's an insane grade and it's hard to believe that a city would allow such a grade.
Think of the insurance claims when someone slips and falls off the property. Roll...and roll....and roll...and stop!! Call the ambulance please.:crybaby2:
