Hello, I have a 1991 300D with 240,000 miles and I want to put some money into it to make it like the facelift W124. I was wondering if it is possible to take off the current hood, headlights, and taillights and put on the hood and lights from a 1995 E-Class. If anyone has any clue about how to do this, then please reply to this thread and let me know.

Also, the air conditioning has been shot for quite a while. Has anything commonly gone wrong with the a/c system on this chassis?

PS for the rear, the trunk lid is different, you can get a filler plate that will pretty much make up the major difference, but just fyi the rear is more than just the lights. use the search function for more info!

You will also need to have the bumper painted (or replaced with smooth non-textured type), the panel under the headlights swapped (not just for the wiper if equipped, but also for clearance of the hood/grille), among other things.
