Hi guys. I'm looking to replace my merc stock radio/casette player.
Is it possible to put a double din navi/dvd player in w210?
If so where do you get the right trim piece for centre console.
Also do you know if I can get a radio unit from one of the newer mercs and stick it in my 1996 e320?

The answer is yes, since a lot came that way. Problem is the wood trim is no longer manufactured, so a trip to a breaker may be in order. Look at the photos in post 15:

I just ordered the trim piece from the dealer about 4 months ago It cost about $400 with a wholesale account. The biggest problem that we had is trying to match up the wood color. there was several options. Plus when we got the new one that matched it still wasn't perfect because of the sun fade. you should also replace the plastic bucket that holds the radio and the HVAC controls so that it fits right.
