Is it hard to replace fuel filter?
I just thought about it today and realized I have over 120K miles on my fuel filter. How hard is it to replace it? Do I need to get any special tools(like a fuel line disconnect tool)? Where is the fuel filter located? Thanks!
I don't know about the gas models, but the diesels have 2 fuel filters. One is a screw on type like a traditional oil filter (my oil filter being untraditional). The other one I'm not sure about.
no its very easy its just two hose lines
remember to open the fuel filler cap where you fill up with petrol to let any excess pressure escape
Where is the fuel filter located
Any more clues as to changing the fuel filter?

I have an 85 190E and I got a fule filter too, but I'm not sure how to go about changing it. I read somewhere that you shoudl disconnect the fuel pump and let the engien run out, and then proceed, I did this but there was still too much pressure to change it, I was considering letting the car run out of gas before I try this again, but this does not seem like a very good way to change a fuel filter. How do you get rid of all that pressure?
