Hi All,

Is it possible to swap the lower front seat cushions over - I've taken them out and they look identical but I don't want to muck up any the SRS settings. The drivers cushion is a bit worn so it would be good to get some use out of the passenger one.

Thanks for your help!

Cheers

The exact video that you want for xchanging the seat cushions and backs is this one...

The backs can not be exchanged. Only the lower cushions.

If you have high speed internet by all means download the video mentioned by AlmandineSL600 and all the others available from that German website. But if you are using dial-up, know that removing the lower cushion is a simple matter of removing two screws at the front edge of the cushion frame and lifting the cushion out. You don't need to watch a video!

Seat Cushion Swap

After reading the posts and watching the video I have just swapped seat cushions - a 45 minute job at most. When driving I am now sitting on a near new comfortable cushion. The only slightly tricky part was making the heater connections as you are left with virtually no spare wire (both plug outlets are near the tunnel) and the plugs when connected will not go back into their respective plastic retaining clips at the bottom rear of the seat.
My car was an import from Japan and I found two 100 yen coins which won't even buy a coffee!
