Trunk closes for 5 seconds, then I hear hissing sound and it pops open again.....help!

Power-operated deck lid? I have that option on my 2003 S500, and can just push the lid and slam it shut. If you do that, and the lid then self-opens, I would suspect a wiring problem in the power-opening system. If the lid only pops open a fraction of an inch, I would expect a problem with the soft-closing system.
