Guys, I have put 6,000 miles on my 305/25/20 Continentals and they have already worn out. I have had the car aligned and cambered since I put them on 1 year ago. Has anyone had this issue? I dont drive the car hard and can't figure out what went wrong. Feedback would help.

Thanks.

I have heard the larger the wheel size, the shorter the life of the tires. May be 6,000 miles is normal? My tech once told me he had seen 10,000 miles on the same type of tires I have (18" stock P. P Zero) and that's the max he said.

I dont have plenty of history on this subject.. I just put my 20's on a few weeks ago with the 305's.. the only thing i can think is that the rim itself is not dispersing the entire weight of the car equally on the tires.. therefore the inside of the tire/rim bares the majority of the weight/wear and the tire covering the lip does not.. I'm no tech but that is a hunch.
