Spent hours on the web and getting a lot of conflicting information and also from car audio specialist.

Have a US model, 2004, CLK55 AMG, has sat nav, 6 disk cd changer in the glovebox and in the central storage compartment between the front seats it has a factory fitted integrated cell phone ( Motorola V60i).

In an ideal world I could swap this for an iPhone and play music, hear calls, charge phone etc, but seems it's not this simple.

I would ideally like the following.
- Make calls that I can hear over the sound system.
- Play music.

Anything else is a bonus, what options do I have and roughly how much should they cost?

Thanks a lot,

Hi - welcome to the forum.

You may get a better response by asking your question on our Audio & Telematics forum, here:

Incidentally, my 2004 CLK has the same features as yours (although the PO took the phone with him) and when I first enquired about iPod, etc, upgrade I soon discovered that I should have bought a 2005+ model. It seems that in the facelift, the W209 'entertainment' bus was totally reorganised, and this makes these modifications difficult.

Not sure my system is same as yours... but I purchased the MB bluetooth module, plugged it in and mated my 3 phones to the unit.

Each phone is recognized separately by the system as you switch on the Bluetooth. (One phone at a time)

hi

just purchased the Viseo unit off e-bay. Took out my old Nokia 6230 cradle and replaced with the Viseo. (1 minute) Paired my iphone 4 and downloaded my contacts (1 minute) Easiest set up ever! Even has voice recognition so you just ask for the senders name. Keep your phone in your pocket, no need to plug it in and you can pair up to three bluetooth phones to the system.

Viseeo MB2 MBU2000 Mercedes Benz bluetooth car kit UHI (eBay item 110643075212 end time 02-Mar-11 20:27:17 AEDST) : Mobile Home Phones

Hope this helps
