I've got my ml since friday and i am very pleased with it.

I just keep on wondering, where do i have to put my pens, coins, sunglasses ...
The storage compartments in the center console have these strange shapes, which are totally un-ergonomical for its purposes.

Where do my fellow-ml-drivers keep their pens, coins, sunglasses ?
One other question: is the steering wheel in the center of the drivers seat ?

There are 4 coin slots in the bottom of the large middle console compartment.
My pens are on the top of the middle console, since it doesn't allow for too much stuff to fit in there.

As for my sunglasses, I keep them in their case in the map compartment on the driver side door. It's easy to reach down and pick them up, but you can also purchase those nice clips that allow you to store your glasses on the visor.

I can't answer the steering wheel question, I haven't checked, but I'm guessing it is. Wouldn't it be awkward if it wasn't?

You certainly taught me something new today. I thought these holes were for ventilation like E-Class and S-Class. I keep learning new tricks on this board. Not bad at all. Please keep them coming.

On the question of interior storage, anyone know of a product out there to cover the cup holders when not in use. Given the limited storage avilable the cup holder/s look like a great place to store stuff
