It would be great if we could have a uk meet and at the same time have someone come over and activate options on our cars :D Only problem it would be a bit of a drive from Glasgow [:p] the more motorway driving the better I guess lol

Living up North can be a right bind at times (I'm about 90 miles away, right on the border!!!)

But hey, least there's loads of quiet country roads about!!! [;)]
I've spent the last couple of weeks walking up and down between Penrith & Carlisle (several times, mostly at night!!) and know what you mean bout the roads - they are excellent (if you keep off the M6 & A74)

I'll apologise now if there have been any mad SLK drivers trying to mow you down!!! 50 points for a pedistrian and all that!!! [;)]

Woohoo so glad my avatar seems to be appearing for people!!! [8D]
So far we have 1 from the north west, one from the north east, 1 from Scotland and 1 from California, I think the meet should be in South Wales, thats nearly in the middle.

And here's another from South Wales. Just got my SLK350 a couple of weeks ago and loving it!

Phil
And one from London, especially if we are going to get the little things sorted out like activating my wipers etc.

Been sorting out your railways for you[:)]

I posted a previous post (ok, i've been to my village pub all afternoon) re a UK meet - we nearly got one organised in Brum, with the guy who could unlock everything turning up. Only prob so far is the weather has been so C£$p (crap) that no one wants to go any distance. I work all over the country in my little Kangeroo van, can do east London to the poor impoverished NE in about 3Hrs 15 mins, so if we had a meet in the Midlands, with the unlocking guy, it would not be that bad for a Sat day out.
Only problem is is that I'm not due to get my new SLK till June time.

And as much as I love my current SLK, I'm following more and more in love with my new one!!!!

Weather is really going to be an issue for us lot!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a scorching summer - pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee [8D]

Have we got anyone from the Midlands who is interested in coming along?? Cause we're gonna need suggests of good open roads!!! [;)]

Pat on the back to Woolly for fixing the railway lines for us Northerns - if it's not leaves on the tracks, it's snow, or even better flooding!!!!! [8D]
I live in Pembrokeshire, and would be happy to travel towards central Britain, [Midlands, Gloucester?] especially if timed for the late Spring or Summer
I am North West London ways....up for a meeeting during summer...

need to get wipers also activated
How about some time end of June or July if the weather is good ? EDD11Y
Early July, would be quite good - and we stand a fairly good chance of decent weather!!! [8D]
