The second attempt completed without success. Capacitor installed with attention to polarity - and only minor improvements appear as a result. Only the Temperature gauge and the Clock are working. The Speedometer, Odometer Fuel gauge still show no signs of life!!

I used a company called cartronix, Mileage Correction pixel and odometer repair to fix my mercedes speedometer, i did try doing it myself but gave up in the end £129 sent it and got it back 2 days later fully working. Much cheeper than a new one and retained origional mileage so no need for a mileage correction.

Do you still provide this service? I have a 1996 MB C280 and the cluster is dead and it was deemed nonrepairable by a reputable speedo shop in Atlanta.

Bayhas has not been here in about a decade, and I believe since the cluster is dead, it needs new capacitors, and or one of the voltage regulators is shorted / open.

You could likely get yours rebuilt if you want to go that route. Restore your Mercedes.com
