First I backed up into a closed garage door, not too much damage to the ML. The bumper hitch took the brunt of it. My wife just had a meeting with a mailbox while backing up.
Time to get the dents taken out by the shop. Then I will install the rear backup sensor system in the bumper. I saw a short video on how to do it but I cannot remember where. I am looking for the steps to remove the rear bumber so I can drill and mount the four 22 mm sensor flush in the bumper. Not taking any chances with the new paint job.
Thanks

Take this cover off and remove the 10mm nut there is one on the other side as well.

Then at the middle do the same DO NOT take the nut on top because that is for the parts holding the spare.

Then if you have a MUD FLAP you have to take this cable off so you can pull the bumper off completely. Once you tale all the nuts all you have to do is slide it back and that’s it. Enjoy

Thanks!
Those are great instructions. Actually looks easy.
Again, thanks for taking the time to document the process.
