Has anyone done it yourself? Is it possible? Any special tool required? I know the kit from MB comes with installation manual. I want to install it myself and save labour. Any info appreciated.

Hi,

I don't want to sound rude, but do you mind letting me know how much the kit cost?

I wanted it from the start and was willing to pay the option price, but the dealer said it was practically unavailable (only by special order basically), and I was already waiting 6 weeks for the '07s at the time and didn't want to wait any longer.

Any price and part numbers appreciated!

hey Jeff. I don't know about Toronto.. but here in Vancouver the kit is available at any dealer. They don't stock it though. Ordering it takes half day to arrive from their warehouse. The cost is $580.
