Hey Benzworld.

Yesterday I brought my car to a shop and got H&R Lowering springs and bilstien b8 shocks installed.
The whole time I have owned my 98 S420 the BAS/ASR light has been on. Traction control and ABS has always worked.
After the shop installed my springs & shocks my power steering is now slightly heavier. Not extremely heavy but Not S Class steering, ABS Light is on.
The car is not in limp mode. Brakes function. ABS Does not. Traction control (ASR) does not turn on / off when prompted.

What should I do?
What could be my issue?

Before the suspension was installed. the power steering was amazing. the abs & traction control were functional

Id really need to scan it to see what the fault is. Maybe they damaged\upset a ABS wheel sensor or wiring. Did you get a wheel alignment after the installation?
I took it to a place called German Autowerks, local to my area. The guy pulled out a scanner he said he hasn't used in 10+ years. The scanner read for the same 2 ASR/BAS codes I have had the whole time I've owned this S420. His scanner did not communicate with the ABS module
I have a guy who made me a replacement key, He has SDS. I have an appointment with him on Sunday to get the light scanned.
I have not got the car aligned yet, Have an appointment Tuesday for that.
It seems there is a lot of people who are lowering their vehicles local to me.

Prior to getting the ABS code. If I were to take the wheels off, what should I look for?
