My V230 TD runs poorly sometimes when warm (>80C coolant) and is terrible to try to start. It seems as though it is not getting fuel. It runs just fine at cooler temperatures.
I would like to install a fuel pressure gauge, but I'm not sure what range the gauge should read. Can anyone tell me what the normal range of fuel pressure should be for this vehicle?
The engine is OM601.970 and the pump, as near as I can tell, is this one here:
