Yes, I would guess the car software could be quite different.
When I try to import, the car just waits for something to be sent to it, but I can't figure out how to send from iphone.
Importing contacts from iphone w/o command

New member here, I recently bought my first Merc, a 2008 C180 Komp Sedan and I'm lovin' it! :smile
My iphone 6 connects beautifully to the BT phone every time I step into the car. However, I can't seem to work out how to import contacts to it.
I don't have the satnav or the command system, just the BT phone.
I found some old threads here about troubles regarding similar issues, but I figured since the threads were really old maybe the issue has been solved somehow...
As far as I could figure it out I just need a BT app on my iphone that can send vcards through the "general bluetooth protocol", but I can't seem to find any.
Anyone solved this issue?

Ok, I'm beginning to realize that the iPhone and Audio 20 is incompatible when it comes to address book exchanges.
However, I also tried with another phone (Samsung S5), which is fully capable of sending files through bluetooth, but not even that would my car take.
So I'm thinking maybe my Audio 20 needs an update...
My version of the BT baseband transceiver is 2.06.02H
Is there a newer version out?
Anyone with another phone that has succeeded in transferring contacts to an Audio 20 system (w/o comand)?
