I own a 2014 GLK with Premium Package and Multi-Media Package.
Can I import a route destination via a SIM card? I want to be able to use Google Maps on my home PC to search for the name of a destination (e.g., restaurant), then store that destination onto a SIM card. Then carry the SIM card into my Mercedes, plug in the SIM card and have the Command navigation system load the destination and provide route guidance.
Is this possible? I can’t find anything in the owner’s manual or on-line.
(During the 6 month trial of mbrace I downloaded destinations from google maps several times via the mbrace satellite link. This was useful, but the trial is over and it’s not worth it to me to pay $280/yr to use the mbrace only a few times a year.)
Any suggestions?
