Hello everyone! Im looking for this part on my 1980 300sd. Its part of the throttle system. It has like a metal backing i believe and the inside is rubber. It is broken in half in my pictures. I was wondering if anyone had one I could buy or even help me find one. Any help at all would be appreciated!!

That parts seems to be non-existent. Perhaps you can drill a hole thru both parts and fasten back together with epoxy, a bolt and nut?

All the linkages need to be lubricated with ATF or spray lithium grease.

I got it off and im taking it to my auto class to have my teacher and I try to figure out the best way to get it to work for now. Epoxy does seem like a good option.

So me and my teacher cut out pieces of metal to weld to points of the mount to the metal piece that was holding some of the rubber. It seems to be working well. I think i just have to lube with with white lithium as someone else stated so it doesn’t bind like it is.
