Do you have, or do you plan to use, Euro headlights? I love the way they look on the older cars, as in the pre-116 models.

Ooooh......

That looks awesome.

I'm with DarkOneSK, the stacked round headlights looks better.

On the stock cars I prefer the Euro lights, but on the custom model, the stacked lamps look more appropriate.

I respectfully disagree.

With the art-deco, streamline-design look he's going for, flush aero headlights look more appropriate.

So there!

How did you end up with a RHD car in the US? I think the US headlights are much better looking. Infact, people with 108's/R107's tend to put in US lights on instead of Euro ones.

I preffer the US headlights...IMHO the US lights look meaner, more interesting, and more "hot-rodish".

Snibble

The car was ordered in England and later taken to South Africa. The car lived it's whole life there, hence the dry sheet metal. Then years ago the owners moved to Santa Barbara, CA and brought the car with them. So I saw the car once in Santa Barbara by chance made an offer they refused. Saw the car again, by chance, couple of years later, made a lower offer they aggreed :D

So I bought it, enjoyed it, and the SATAN got in to me and said chop it....so I did

Only after I chopped it I found out, from one of other forums, that between 1962 and 1971 only 512 or some RHD coupes were ever made.

Stick to your original plan. The round headlights look super "pimp". I love it! :)
