I currently drive a 2005 touareg 3.2i V6 and it's quit dull (even with the custom body kit).

I always wanted a g klass so I started searching.

This is what I came up with:

Mercedes-Benz, G, 350 D Turbo Lang chassis Nieuwe Model occasie te koop - AutoScout24

What would be the best choice?

Any things I need to look for (common problems)?

Hello,

I only heard horror storys regarding the G400cdi. I wouldn't touch it.
do a google and you will find a lot of info. Maybe not on this forum because it is mainly used by americans and they don't have the 400cdi.

compared with the touareg maintenance is very expensive...

Both of those models have famously had serious problems. The G350 motors failed catastrophically (and frequently). They can be rebuilt with the OM606 motor and come out better than new. I've heard bad things about the G400, but don't know exactly what the problem was.
