Jody! If you didn't already, make sure each part is labeled. Masking tape with a sharpie on the back side. Small parts in labeled baggies. Left side parts marked left side and Right side marked right side. Do it now before you forget. You WILL forget!

Is that a photo of your mechanic? It looks like he's having a good time!

I like the 450SL- black interior with checked cloth panels, stick shift, nice.

Yea, I married my mechanic and loan him out to the neighbors on occasion. And thank you, I really like the cloth too. I've been looking for some to fix the seats that are a bit worn, no luck as of yet. Oh yea , that one is the 77 280 sl.

Yea, that's the 77 280sl. But its a 4spd stick. And, yes I'm crying.:crybaby2:
My only comfort is the fact that we have all the parts to put her back together and I have a broken left foot so I can't drive her. Other wise I'd be the most evil woman on earth. So I took the 76 450sl out to the beach today. I love her too.... But she just isn't my baby. John is on vacation for 4 weeks so I'm hoping the rust issues will all be taken care of. The motor was completely by John last year. Now she down to fix her looks and rust. Last night was the first time I ventured into the garage since shes been like this.:crybaby2::crybaby2::eek::crybaby2::crybaby2:It physically hurt.:crybaby2::crybaby2:
