hi i own 300 SEL 1992 and i am thinking to do some nodification to the engine. i was wondaring if any of you guys know what should i do to increase the HP

Have some respect and leave the poor thing alone. If you wanted more HP, you should of bought S500 or S600.[}]

You can buy k &n filtering system or perhaps a chip, but like the other poster mentioned...

You can buy k &n filtering system or perhaps a chip, but like the other poster mentioned, that is only gonna give you few horsepower units....nothing significant....because it will never be enough in my opinion.. i have a 97 s420 and a 97 s500..and even though the s500 has more than 40 horespower...its not noticable that much.

The only worthwhile modifications are a supercharger, airfilter, suspension (firmer not lower), rear brakes upgraded to twin pots and 18" alloys. Anything else is a waste of time and money on this engine
