The Mercedes part number for the lock cylinder lubricant is 001 989 26 51 10. It's about $15. My local dealer had it in stock. The service manual says to "spray the cylinder with grease" but I think I would follow merc s500's advice and try applying it to the key first. I did that to my wife's C car and it's been fine for years.
