It seems the radiator clips are to be replaced (from plastic to metal) and the upper radiator hose is to be inspected for chaffing damage. <br> The rest of you should be getting some information very soon. This would be a good time to have the computer updated to allow for reading the oil level from the inside as well I guess........

Also got the call today......
brought the car in and it already had the metal clips. Told them about the computer problem and they didn't believe me, but had no problem putting a laptop to it. Can't remember who told us this...but thanks for the tip. It's fixed! ;-)

I see two separate pairs of clips...
One pair holds the fan shroud to the radiator. That pair is metal.<br> <br> The other pair holds the radiator to the body with a rubber vibration dampener. That pair is plastic.<br> <br> I see there's less than 1/4-inch of space between the fan shroud and the radiator hose at one point because of a small cylindrical protrusion from the shroud. The protrusion has relatively sharp edges and I guess that's where it would wear through if the clips broke, and possibly just from normal vibration.<br> <br> I checked mine and the clips are good an there's no wear on the hose.
