Anyone have any thoughts on using an oil motor to power a PTO driven Werner F64?

Something like this:

I've seen what I think is one such installation here, if you look closely at this Unit, it appears to be an F64 that was formerly PTO driven, now possibly hydraulic driven:

If so, looks like the hydro motor must at least reasonably fit where the PTO pillow block would go? (unsure of the motor used, that's the only photo I can find)

Also wondering if it's possible to rotate the housing (part number 75) so the motor could be placed on top (with some bracket to hold the motor)

of course)

Such as they have done from the factory, though I'm not sure the oil drains would line up and work, also obviously more changes on the factory version, no hand brake, etc. But it sure looks like a long lasting design.

Anyway, not wondering for myself, I will power mine via regular old school PTO, although the thought crossed my mind once or twice. Just having a conversation with someone if it's possible or not.

Trev, I would not want to mount the motor like it was done on the 416! If you look close, they had to cut the main cab support under the grill. I would be afraid to tilt the cab on that truck now! Would have been better if mounted up like on the others.

That's a 406 ;)

Are you sure the cab support is cut? I think that's just the winch bracket, being gloss black it's hard to tell.

Like I said, I plan on using PTO. Another fellow and me were discussing the differences between the hydro and mechanical versions as he is looking for one (hydro version) for his 1300.

I don't cut nothin'! ;)

EDIT:
I've blur'd the mog so the bracket is easier to see. Judging by the rest of the Unimog, I don't think this guy would have cut the front grill/cab just to mount an oil motor:
