My Heating and Cooling has completely stopped. There is no air blowing. Can anyone suggest some possible causes and approaches to diagnose. Also, how do I change the temperature reading from celcius to farheinheit, (sp).

Sounds like your fan has failed.. search and you will find how to remove the covers and check it ...and replace IF thats the cause..

first you must study some threads on this forum. Go to advanced search and type in key words as "AC error" or something similar and you will find instructions for your year. The procedure is very easy and it lasts about 10 seconds and you can do it on your own inside of the cabin.

Yes, its very similar, but to get it "from the horses mouth" for a 1997 model, since sensor
values, nor error codes are the same for <1996 and >1996, I would have a look here;

Well, here it gets more complicated, as a switching point occurred in 1997
from where this setting is taken. Have a look at this procedure;

My car, a 1998 will get this setting from the rest of the car, not from the A/C
module. Not sure about yours, but have a look at the values stored, then
you can derive if you can set it there or not.

If your car is like mine, it gets the ºF or ºC from the K1 line from the IC, instrument cluster.
Have a look at nearly the bottom of this page;
STAR TekInfo

That means, that to switch between them, your IC will have to be version coded,
not the A/C.
