Hi guys,

Does anyone know how one can replace the latch? It seems the part is held by tabs inside the lid, but I can't seem to to take it off. I don't want to break anything. Mine is scratched up, and want to put a new one in.

I am talking about #14 on the attached diagram.

I had to drop the GL for some work this morning, and my SA told me "just pull on it". Once I get the car back, I will try and report back.

Yep...just pull and it will slide out. Mercedes part #1646800884
