Getting ready to put the winter shoes on my 2000 E430 4matic and noticed the alloy rim is scratched... [:(]

Turns out the winter rims stick out ever so slightly versus the stock rims which are recessed and can't touch the floor when stored...

Any way to repair it (clear nail polish)? Or does it even need to be repaired/treated?

Thanks,

Retreated....

l have been working at the Toyota plant in Canada, for about six years now and when any of our rims get scratched they send it out to be retreated...the chrome ones need to be re-chromed and the alumimun ones need to be dipped in some kind of bath....l wish l could be a little more specific....there are places out there that do this kind of work..its finding them that's the trick.....hoped this helped...good luck...
