Can anyone tell me how to remove the rear seat of my 2002 c240? I have removed lower seat and the bolts at the bottom of the seat back, but it's still attached at the top. I can't figure out how to release to get the seat out. Can anyone please help? Thanks!

Thanks for reply Whosdis. Problem is that my trunk lock cable seems to have snapped (don't ask how). So now I can not open trunk with remote or with the key. I went to dealership and they said that they will have to remove the seat and unlock the trunk from inside. Because I can't get into the trunk, I can not access the two plastic panels or the latches to take the back seat out. I can get into the trunk only through the opening behind the back seat to fit the lock cable. Really need some help please

You have to do some surgery. Essentially you have to remove the upholstery from the rear seat enough that you can get to the back side of the remote latching mechanism and release it. I don't know the exact model you have, but the attached docs should give you some idea of what you need to do.
