Can someone please tell me the secret to removing the bulbs that light up the HVAC controls on a 560?
I've pushed, pulled, turned in all sorts of combinations with no luck.

The glass part just pulls straight out of the white plastic part, unless someone glued them in or they melted from being the wrong bulb.

Thanks John.
I pulled as hard as I dared w/o breaking the bulb.
As it happened, all the fiddling around got the bulb that was out working again.

Are you trying to prove ConorD's point? Fiddle with it and the problem goes away?:)

Next time try to slip a piece of shrink wrap tubing around it to give you something to grip.

Do you heat shrink it?
I grabbed it gently with a pair of pliers but I was waiting for that crunching sound of breaking glass....i

Use an old bulb. Place heat shrink on old bulb. Apply light heat. Shape to fit and remove gently. Viola, bulb tool.

No, you shouldn't have to shrink it if you use the right size.
