Hi, everyone.
I've found out that my 78' 280CE engine is a "hybrid" one....:) I mean, according to the engine block number, it appears to be a "110.923" (carburetor), but the engine head looks came from fuel injected engine (K-JET). Now i want to find out, from what type of engine is that head - "110.984" (130kw) or "110.988" (136kw) (?).

Are there any numbers on the engine head, which i haven't noticed or anything else, what help me to identify the engine head?

Thanks in advance.

There is a number on the head just above the exhaust manifold and below the row of temp sensors and switches.

Get that number and then you should be able to cross reference it

Thanks very much.
I found, that numbers are R1100161901. I've called to local Mercedes Benz dealer, but they could'nt tell me, to what kind of M110 engine that head belongs... can anybody help me to decode it?
Will help any information, such, like manufacturing year and etc.
