Hello,

I was just wondering if someone could explain to me how this alternator works? There are 3 wires: 2 red wires on their own separate B+ terminals but go to the same starter terminal and one blue wire on a D+ terminal that goes to the charge lamp. There is also what appears to be another B+ terminal but no wire attached to it.

1) Which wire would regulate output?

2) What application would the other B+ terminal be used for?

Thanks again,

Marc-Andre

AL80X has internal voltage regulator. There is no need for external wire. Additional B+ terminal is for noise suppression capacitor. Part 001 156 69 01.
