hrm, i ordered the h and r's but...

it only lowers 1.3 inches, and that's all they have for the W140 S classes. i really don't want to cut the springs to get a lower effedct... i think that 1.3 inches in the back would be fine but in the front i probably need 1.75 or 2...

how will i do this?

do i need to change the pads?

(Question: when the springs settle, will it be 1.3 inches lower [as listed], or will it be lower than that?)

thanks,

Erik
cx544033-d.alsv1.occa.home.com

I'm confused. Why would you need to lower the car. With larger wheels and smaller/lower profile tire, isn't the orignal spacing between tire and fender maintained.

no... thats not right/

no, when you get aftermarked wheels that are larger than the stock ones, the space between the fender and the wheel is exgerated.. thus requiring springs to lower the car.

PS. Erik, can you email me the pics of your car?? all the links are dead.. that would be greeat! cheers man.
