...do you see on any given day whether commuting to work or just driving around? How many in your neighborhood?

I usually see 2-3 sedans, a wagon here and there, and occasionally a coupe, on my way into the city each morning. There are at least 3 240D's that I see regularly. A really pretty blue one getting on the freeway, a nice red one at the stoplight by my house, and one chugging up the hill going south on the 101.

As for W123's in my neighborhood, there are at least 5 near me. 3 300D's, 1 300TDT, and 1 240D. One of the 300D's is up the street from me.

Not many W123 sightings near my area... a manila beige 300D and a champagne gold 300CD are the recent ones I have seen more than once. W123's are somewhat rare sights here in South Florida. ;)

Pretty rare around here due to the rust. There's one about a mile from my house, that's about it for this area.

I see about five W123s every day. One wagon and four sedans.

When I bought a Volvo 240 in the 80's I noticed EVERY Volvo 240 on the road.
When I bought a BMW 735 in the 90's I noticed EVERY BMW 735 on the road.
When I bought my F-350 diesel in 2002 I noticed every F-350 diesel on the road.

Funny how when you own a certain vehicle your eye catches every one on the road.

There are 3 I see regularly, but they're always parked in their driveways. Other than that I might see one or two on the road every few months.

I see 126's more often around here. Also, there are about 6 or 7 190s that I see almost every day.

Very rarely. The last one I saw was a euro sedan 123 2 weeks ago. Previous to that - maybe 3 months ago. There are more 126's here than 123's. Most of the 123's are junked or parked somewhere not in daily use.

I drive mine almost 75% of the time now that winter is over. Also diesel is so cheap $2.02 - woo hoo.

I kind of glad I don't see many 123s around here. It makes me feel like my cars are more unique.:D

We only have our 123s now. We drive them every day all year long.

There's a 280E in blue with cloth interior that I see around here. Some non w123s include a Euro 230TE, and a 300SD in manila beige. There's also a black 300TD that I never saw anymore, the same 300D that parks in the same spot, a 240D that's also parked near our apartment (but got smashed in), a 240D owned by a neighbor previously (who asked if mine was for sale by the way), another 280E (Euro) that was on the freeway on my way home a few months ago (owned by an old lady), and a few more nice w123s I can't remember.

There was one guy in a manila beige coupe who was cruising down the freeway and as I entered, I slowed down to match his speed and drove alongside, waved at each other and smiled and went on our merry ways.

Just around the corner from me is a rusty 450 SE, I believe it is. I know that there is a couple of 300D's around boston where I live and I see a 300TD veggied once in a while. There are quite a few BMW e28s actually...still sexy machines!

Rare in West Central Florida as well – lack of a functional A/C and the expense to repair sends these cars to the auction block.

There's a guy down the street from me that had a W123 sedan which he did as a "Rat" style. It was flat Black with the headlight doors, wheels and part of the tail lights Blacked out. I had hoped to get a picture to post but I haven't seen it for a while. He also has a W124 300D. Then he had an old Jag but replaced it with a respectable looking 240D in that Maroon Red color with hub caps . I see 1 or 2 a month on the freeway. Other than that, I see them mostly in Salvage Yards.
